Slender dark brown tabby. Short, sleek fur that is kept neat. Long legs and slender tail.

PERSONALITY:

Mousefeather is an optimistic and upbeat she-cat with a positive outlook towards life. Like her clanmates, she firmly believes that any struggle is simply a test she must overcome and that better days will always come so long as she has faith. Mousefeather is highly spiritual and while she accepts that not all cats think the way that she does, she finds it difficult to maintain close relationships with cats who refuse to acknowledge the importance of their ancestors in any way. To cats who do not share her beliefs, she may come across as pretentious.

While she is unwaveringly loyal to her clan, Mousefeather has no desire to be a leader. Instead, Mousefeather takes pride in being supportive, either by providing emotional support or by hunting for her clanmates. She also takes pride in her clan’s reputation, and looks down on cats who seek to tarnish it. Mousefeather respects that the other clans are unique in their own ways, but sometimes can’t help but wish they shared her views, especially in terms of violence. She considers scars to be brutish, and is not impressed by scars or stories of a cat’s prowess in battle. Instead, she believes that a cat’s true strength lies in their mind, not their claws.

In spite of her strict adherence to her beliefs, Mousefeather cares deeply for all of her clanmates. She sees them all as family, and that it is her responsibility to aid them whenever she can. Mousefeather tries her best to maintain a warm and friendly attitude, and enjoys spending time with other cats. When she isn’t busy with her warrior duties, she can be found socializing with other cats.
 

BRIEF HISTORY:

Mousekit was born and raised in Lakeclan, and was a young kit when the clans made their journey to their new home. She doesn’t remember much from the journey besides small snippets of what the mountains looked like, and the crowds of cats that had travelled together.

During her apprenticeship Mousepaw developed a deep appreciation for her ancestors. While she never excelled in battle training, she grew to be a proficient hunter and took great interest in the non-combat related lessons that her mentor had to offer. For a short time she considered giving up her warrior training to pursue the path of a medicine cat, but she felt that she would not be able to handle the emotional toll of caring for dying cats. Ultimately, her desire to take a mate later in life convinced her to stick to the life of a warrior.

By the time she received her warrior name, Mousefeather had grown into a beautiful and confident she-cat. She strives to maintain her faith and to make her ancestors proud.
